Chrome doesn't display text due to hardware acceleration on Windows

I'm using Windows Surface Pro 7 and after some updates of Windows recently, Chrome can't display some texts properly like the picture shown below. To fix this, click three dots on the top right side of Chrome and go to 'Settings' -> 'Advanced' -> 'System'. Disable 'Use hardware acceleration while available'.

Fail to display text like this page.

Button in Chrome's Settings to fix it.

I think the possible patches are:

– Quality Updates: KB4023057: Update for Windows 10 Update Service components

– Driver Updates: Surface – Extension – 42.18362.3.3541

Hope this helps!
