First chromebook: Lenovo Flex 5 (i3, oled, 8gb, 256gb). First impressions and a couple of questions

Just got my first chromebook yesterday and I've been enjoying it a lot. My former laptop was a Carbon X1 that did 7 years of perfect service before dying on me, so I wanted to go Lenovo again. Since I already have a good desktop gaming pc /workstation I figured that there was no need for an overly expensive laptop.

I was able to get a very good deal (I'm in Norway, but roughly equal to 350usd including sales tax) on a Lenovo Flex 5 with this spec sheet:

i3 1115G4

8gb ram

256gb m.2 ssd

13.3" 1080p OLED

First off – the screen is awesome. I love the deep blacks and punchy color. 1080p is on the low side, but for this price and size it's awesome.

Keyboard is better than I expected, reminds me of the carbon x1. Touch pad is meh, but I'm using a mouse or the touch screen anyway. Build quality is surprisingly good over all.

It's a bit early to judge the battery, but seems decent (but not excellent) so far.

I'm not going to be using this for very processor heavy tasks, but I tested some games, watched some videos and gamed with a friend over Parsec with no issues. Very little heat to speak of either.

I was pleasantly surprised by the built in speakers. Much better than my previous lenovo, and the stereo was quite effective both for music and video.

So far I'm very happy with my purchase.

Now for my questions: What is the best way to access my work station? Just use chrome remote desktop?

What, in your opinion, is the best photo editor for use with google photos?
