Should I wait for 12th gen Intel chips?

Hi everyone,

My PC (fully decked Dell XPS 15) is turning more of a pain to work with. I've had my eye on 2 in 1 Chromebooks for a while, and I'm strongly considering making the leap. The most important thing for me is battery life.

It seems like 12 gen Chromebooks will come out this summer. Is it worth the wait? And if not, what currently available Chromebooks do y'all recommend? I have my eye on Asus cx5 and Acer spin.
